Optimistically, I would rather focus on what is right in India. Reuben has a story up on his page of a Muslim community in Jew Town, Cochin that stepped up to help an aging Jew. Coincidentally, Kerala also has the highest literacy rate amongst all the states in India.
Maybe in a couple of decades, Religous friction and polarisation will vaporise. Maybe it won’t. Until then, a story like this would help motivate me to (foolishly?) believe it is possible to forget the bad and not inter the good.
