What I find interesting is the parameters that help describe the system. How is it possible for the algorithms at Google to accurately figure out that I would enjoy learning about Hrithik Roshans new film. Turn to the Sports page and Crickets there.
How much of it is Human Intervention? How much of it is pure Algorithms?
I wonder if anyone else feels the same way I do about such newsfeeds? I think it has serious implications for the business as it seems to be possible to replace the Reuters and other agencies responsible for distributing news to the far flung corners of the world. Instead, now all we need are local websites publishing events from within the local area. Google does the rest????
